Food Sensitivity Testing
Food allergies and sensitivities are becoming all too common in today’s world. Genetics plays a role in food sensitivities, however a vast majority of our allergic reactions and sensitivities are due to the toxins that are ubiquitous in the environment (and our body). Toxins that can be found in the air, food, water and in many of the household and personal care products we use every day can severely impact our ability to digest, absorb, assimilate and utilize the macro and micronutrients from the food we eat.
Often, we don’t even KNOW we are sensitive to a food. Sometimes we eat something such as wheat, dairy or legumes and feel bloated or uncomfortable. However it’s possible we are sensitive to foods and not even realize that it may be one of the sources of our pain/inflammation, brain fog and can be the cause, trigger and mediator of things like “leaky gut”.
